access make Treetop a very private location.  The Maritime Hammock Sanctuary, an EEL "Environmentally Endangered Lands" program of Brevard County, allows you to walk the 150 acre preserve and observe wildlife, aquatic life, indigenous plants and more, on paths that total more than 3 miles, with entrances just short walks from Treetop.

     Treetop Village was built in the mid-1980's (so the oak trees are high and make for great shade and hurricane protection).  The original condominium plans called for a much larger development but, ultimately, construction stopped after just 7 buildings and 28 units.  Since that time, the remainder of the land proposed for the original development was sold for conservation purposes, and thus, no new construction will be permitted in the future.

 

     The homes and neighborhood are well maintained, and this gated community has a heated pool as well as a gated RV/Boat storage area for all residents. Since it is in the south beach area of Melbourne Beach, it's within easy walking distance to the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River Lagoon.

 

     In 2015, Treetop Village had many maintenance upgrades and outdated  Condominium Declaration amendments revised. New roofs, painting, lattice, porch railings, tree trimming, fences, sprinklers, pool, and much more were tended to.  We are currently moving towards sustainable landscaping, removing Florida invasive plants and trees, and opting for Florida natives plants and flowers. And members may now rent with restrictions and can have up to 2 pets with no weight limitations on the property.
